CodeWrights invites you to the free FDT Technology Training in Cork, IE and Manchester, UK  hosted by FDT Group.

CodeWrights kindly invites you to the FDT Roadshow – the training which will give you the opportunity to discover the FDT technology and to see live demonstrations of field device configuration.

FDT technology training will take place on Tuesday, 11 December 2012 in Cork, Ireland and on Thursday 13 December 2012 in Manchester, United Kingdom.

FDT is a standard and a technology defining a communication interface between field devices and control systems.

The FDT/DTM technology divides an automation architecture into three categories:

  • software applications like Asset Management Tools and DSC systems; often referred to as "FDT frame applications".
  • device drivers representing field devices, referred to as "Device DTMs" (DTM = DeviceType Manager).
  • Communication Drivers that represent the communication hardware needed for connecting the field device to the automation software, referred to as "Communication or Gateway DTMs".

CodeWrights will welcome you in Cork and Manchester and present to you the tool to access FDT technology: our iDTM™ product. iDTM™ is the universal key to any HART and Foundation fieldbus device!

You will have the opportunity to see and test its features online! A visit of the Jameson distillery in Cork or a Stadium Tour in Manchester respectively will close each training day.

You may register online on http://www.fdtgroup.org/calendar.

Attendance is free of charge and participants will receive a training certificate.
